AFHL - Pop Ups

Refits & Refurbishments

These are for retail companies who rent a space within the Airport for short to Medium periods. The time scale to install these is normally a week and works are carried out in the middle of the Terminal on nights.

Last year we carried out a challenging project for Kate Spade as the units were being delivered to use on a daily basis straight in from the factory, time scales were very tight and had to work through the weekend to complete the works.

Once the length of letting is over, we then remove the pop up and the space is then turned back into normal floor space, so no fixings in the floor allowed, all fixtures and furniture had to be fixed to heavy metal plates which are cut into the temp timber floor.

AFML have made it so incredibly easy

We started using AFML a year ago now as we’ve just opened two new stores in Luton and Gatwick airports. The whole process around getting contractors into airport stores is not an easy process, but AFML have made it so incredibly easy for us and we don’t need to worry about that now at all. Their communication is great, engineers friendly and helpful, and in general are always there whenever we need them. We definitely got lucky finding them!
